Volunteers

No other method provides outside audiences with an inside look on organizational operations and its impact to the community than volunteering.  CBWW is seeking individuals who share a heart for helping Atlanta’s black women and families through the following volunteer activities:

Immediate Need for a Data Entry Clerk - The volunteer will be trained on how to enter data in the Effort to Outcome (ETO) Database.  Upon the satisfactory completion of training the volunteer will be responsible for entering patient information (i.e. demographics, health history, and current health information).

Volunteer requirements

The volunteer must be 18 years of age or older.  The volunteer has to be detailed oriented and be able to work with little supervision.  The volunteer must have computer skills.  In addition, he/she cannot be afraid to ask questions (asking questions are a requirement for this opportunity.

Hours Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:00

Accounting Assistant - assists with setting up binders, making copies, filing and audit preparation. 

Grant Writer - assists with research, data collection and writing of grants.

Marketing Coordinator  - assists with marketing CBWW programs (i.e. press releases, PSA's) and the design efforts of promotional materials.  

Wellness Medical Assistant Extern  -  assists with front and back office clinic functions.

Graphic Design Volunteer  -  the graphic designer will work on a project by project basis designing brochures, a logo, newsletters, flyers etc.

Front Office Volunteer  -  Business Administration majors welcome to assist with various front office functions of CBWW.

Volunteer Coordinator Volunteer  -  coordinate the volunteer effort by recruiting, sending out letters, making phone calls, coordinating applications etc.

WESSP Assistant  -  supports the Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Program Director in fulfilling program objectives.
