Volunteers

No other method provides outside audiences with an inside look on organizational operations and its impact to the community than volunteering. CBWW is seeking individuals who share a heart for helping Atlanta’s black women and families through the following volunteer activities:

Health Fair Volunteers Needed - The Center for Black Women's Wellness actively participates in various health fairs throughout the year.   We are looking for volunteers to assist us in representing CBWW  at health fairs.  We have flexible schedules to accommodate all willing volunteer participants. CBWW provides training classes for our volunteers.  You may attend: one weekend class, a morning class, or evening class.  Each class lasts approximately 60 minutes and covers information on what is expected as a volunteer.   Our primary objective for volunteering is to highlight the services that CBWW provides to participants in need of physical, mental, and economic services;  collecting data from health fair participants; furnishing information about our services; and answering questions.  Most health fairs last approximately 4 to 6 hours and occur on various days to include weekends. For more information on volunteering, You can either fax your application to 404-880-9435 or email your application to ->ntrotter@cbww.org->.  We look forward to having you as a part of our committed team to promote and encourage growth in community involvement and community healthcare services.

Immediate Need for a Data Entry Clerk - The volunteer will be trained on how to enter data in the Effort to Outcome (ETO) Database. Upon the satisfactory completion of training the volunteer will be responsible for entering patient information (i.e. demographics, health history, and current health information).
