CBWW's Women's Economic Self Sufficiency Program (WESSP) is a micro-enterprise development initiative used as a strategy to increase the opportunity for women to become self employed by starting and operating a micro-business. The program serves primarily low-to-moderate income women by providing them with financial literacy, life skills, business development and technical assistance.

All training sessions occur for three hours and include the workshops as follows:

• Basic Presentation & Selling Skills
• Business Idea Feasibility & Goal Setting
• How to Write a Business Plan
• Legal structure
• Marketing & Advertising Strategies
• Pricing product/services
• Record Keeping and Taxes
• Technical Assistance

In addition to workshop training sessions, program benefits include peer-to-peer support; one-on-one coaching, access to financial resources; and networking opportunities. All persons interested must attend an information session.
